Biography

Carolee Messick Grillo (‘66 Political Science), retired after 18 years of service as family court commissioner for the State of Delaware during which she presided over juvenile delinquency and civil and criminal domestic violence cases. Prior to her appointment on the Bench, she worked as an attorney for the firm of Ament, Lynch, and Carr for nine years. Prior to that, Carolee was a law clerk and then attorney for the law office of Thomas F. Luce, Esq. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Widener University.

Carolee has been mentoring undergraduate and law school students at Penn State and recently made a gift to establish a Director’s Fund within the Rock Ethics Institute.
