Biography:

Jane Juffer is associate professor of English and Women's Studies and director of the Latina/o Studies Initiative at the Pennsylvania State University, where she teaches classes in Latina/o Studies, cultural studies, and feminist theory. She is the author of Single Mother: The Emergence of the Domestic Intellectual (New York University Press, 2006), At Home with Pornography: Women, Sex, and Everyday Life (New York University Press, 1998), and articles on Latinos in baseball, Latina/o studies at the corporate university, and various aspects of the U.S.-Mexico border. Her edited issue of the South Atlantic Quarterly on the U.S.-Mexico border was published in 2006 by Duke University Press.
