John Dattilo is a professor in the Department of Recreation, Park and Tourism Management at Penn State where he teaches about developing inclusive leisure services. Much of his research examines effects of interventions designed to enhance self-determination of people with disabilities relative to their leisure participation. John also solicits input from individuals with disabilities via interviews and observations to better understand their perceptions and to develop services based on their stated and observed interests and needs.
