Veena Raman Ph.D.

Dr. Raman is a lecturer in Science, Technology, and Society, and Communication Arts and Sciences. She is also a Research Associate at the Center for Democratic Deliberation. Her research is centered around the many ways citizens use various information technologies to engage with governments, to get access to services and information, to deliberate, participate in governance, and protest. She also studies the social impact and ethical implications of using new media technologies.
