Enrique Dussel's Ethics of Liberation is one of the most innovative, challenging, and systematic proposals for an ethics in the age of globalization and scandalous exclusions and expulsions from planetary justice. Eduardo Mendieta's recent entry on the Philosophy of Liberation in the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy provides an overview and analysis of the movement known as Philosophy of Liberation, out of which Dussel's work emerged during the late sixties.
