Transforming Feminist and Gender Studies Colloquium, Hil Malatino—Canceled
This colloquium hosts a convivial, once-a-month meeting to read, discuss, and workshop scholarship including the works-in-progress of colloquium participants, field-forming pieces in trans studies and transfeminist thought, and emergent trans interventions within, across, and between multiple disciplinary and interdisciplinary spaces.
This colloquium is sponsored by the Gender and Sex Equity Initiative, a working group that brings interdisciplinary, intersectional, feminist, trans-inclusive, and critical race approaches to the examination and redress of contemporary ethical issues that impact gender and sexual minorities. Both the colloquium and the initiative are supported by the Rock Ethics Institute and are convened by Hilary Malatino.
Participation is open to any graduate student, faculty member, or advanced undergraduate working at (or interested in) the juncture of trans studies and feminist theory.
Please send along any questions you might have to Hil Malatino at hjm30@psu.edu.
