Universal Design of the Built Environment: The New Paradigm
Laurie Ringaert will present the new paradigm in looking at the design of the built environment that not only encompasses persons with disabilities but demonstrates how thinking about a range of human functioning creates an environment that is more usable by all people. It is a shift from pure accessibility to more universal design.
