Ethics Film Competition
The Challenge
Both undergraduate and graduate students were invited to create a short film, lasting no more than five minutes, about ethics. The style of the film was open to the film maker. Some of the films were serious, others used comedy to address the issues in their films. The main focus was that the film must center around an ethical issue and enhance our appreciation of the importance of being ethical.
We welcomed submissions that raised or addressed important ethical questions of all kinds with special emphasis on submissions that served to initiate constructive dialogue concerning the responsibilities we have, as individuals and as members of various communities, to address reported cases of ethical wrongdoing.
The finalists received $500 and their videos are prominently displayed on the Rock's website and YouTube page.
