Lauren Barry

Lauren Barry is a senior in the Graphic Design Program. After spending her first year at Penn State York, her art professor, Fred Haag, insisted that she apply to the Graphic Design Program at University Park. She was the teaching assistant for graphic design professor Kristin Sommese during her senior year. Lauren spent the past summer in New York working for the fashion magazine, Harper's Bazaar. She hopes to work for a magazine after graduation.
Courtney Christopher

Courtney Christopher will be graduating this May with a Bachelor of Design degree in Graphic Design. While at Penn State, Courtney worked on a variety of projects, including packaging, print, motion, and Web design. Her notable achievements include: receiving First Place in the World Biennial Exhibition of Student Posters, held in Serbia; receiving First Place in the World Traffic Safety Symposium in New York City; and being selected to represent Penn State at the Art Directors Club Portfolio Review for the top 100 graduating design students in the nation. After graduating, Courtney plans to begin work in either New York or Los Angeles.
Kori Dyer

Kori Dyer is a senior in the Graphic Design Program at Penn State, and enjoys working in print, multimedia, packaging and time and sequence. Originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, she is the oldest of five and has a passion for anything to do with traveling, art and music. Last summer, she interned at SPIN Magazine in New York City, where she designed layouts and numerous band posters, and organized festival events. After graduation she hopes to move back to the city and work at an amazing design firm in Manhattan.
Brandon Hess

Brandon Hess is a graduating senior Film-Video major at Penn State. For the past three years, his short films have been featured at the Student Film Organization’s annual Film Festival. This August, Brandon will be attending the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, California, to pursue a master’s degree in film directing. Brandon sees film as more than an entertaining escape from life. Instead, he believes this art medium can make powerful, positive contributions to the world we share.
Lainey Lee

Our Landfill; Plugged In, Tuned Out
Lainey Lee is a senior graphic design student from Sharon, Pennsylvania. She is currently president of the Penn State Design Association and has been recognized with various honors. She won a Gold Award in Graphis New Talent Annual 2010. She was also a finalist in the AIGA Poster Clash 2010 and had one of her posters featured in the 3rd World Biennial Exhibition of Student Poster 2008 in Novi Sad. In the summer of 2009 Lainey completed an internship at Laird+Partners in New York City. After graduating in May she plans on returning to New York to pursue a career in design.

Jenny Lubkin is a senior in the Graphic Design program. While she is excited to graduate, she will greatly miss Penn State. Over the years, Jenny has earned several awards for her graphic design; most recently, entry in the Graphis New Talent Annual 2010. She believes that an important part of being successful in the design community is to know what you believe and not to be afraid to make a statement about it.
Megan Powell

Megan Powell was born on March 30, 1987, in Dayton, Ohio. From an early age she had an interest in art and was constantly drawing on anything she could get her hands on. Two moves later, she ended up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and one of her teachers would suggest to her to pursue a degree in graphic design. After much deliberation, Megan picked Penn State and sure enough followed the advice of her high school teacher. After graduation Megan hopes to pursue her career in design in New York City.
Christopher Rizzo

Christopher Rizzo is from Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, and is a graduating senior in the Penn State Graphic Design Program. He is published in the 2010 Graphis New Talent Annual and was a winner of the 2009 Design for Safety Traffic Symposium. His work was also displayed in the Novi Sad Poster Biennial. He is a member of the Penn State Blue Band. Christopher plans to return to Pittsburgh after graduation to pursue a career in graphic design.
Marley Stellmann

Marley Stellmann is originally from Baltimore, Maryland. She attended Notre Dame Preparatory School before coming to Penn State. She is currently a senior in the Graphic Design Program and has spent her last four years at University Park studying design. In addition to film making, Marley has a background in print, packaging, Web design, and brand identity. Last summer she interned at Moxie Sozo, a design firm in Boulder, Colorado, under the creative direction of Leif Steiner, a 1996 Penn State graduate. After graduating, Marley plans on moving to New York to find a job in the design world.
Lindsay Stork

Lindsay Stork, originally from Reading, Pennsylvania, will be graduating in May with a Bachelor of Design Degree. During her Penn State career as a graphic design major, Lindsay has designed the 2009 Homecoming logo as well as the 2010 THON logo. She also was a selected participant of the World Biennial of Student Poster competition in Novi Sad. She interned at a branding design firm in New York City this past summer, working on projects such as the new Kayak.com identity and Web design for PricewaterhouseCoopers. After this eye-opening experience, she plans to pursue a professional design job in New York or California.
Stacy Zanca

Stacy Zanca, originally from Parsippany, New Jersey, is a graduating senior of the Graphic Design program at Penn State. In her short student career, her work has also been recognized in competitions by respected groups such as World Bienniel of Student Poster in Nova Sad, The Art Director's Club of Metropolitan Washington, and AIGA–The Professional Association for Design. After landing an internship in the Art Department at Rolling Stone Magazine in New York City this past summer, she also plans to begin pursuing her professional career in New York City after graduation.
