Betsy VanNoy is the Administrative Support Assistant for the Rock Ethics Institute in the College of Liberal Arts at Penn State. In this role, Betsy coordinates the Rock's event planning and publicity efforts, research initiative budgets, website updates, and the conference room calendar, among other duties.
Prior to joining the Rock in 2018, Betsy served as Program Coordinator for Stand For State, Penn State's bystander intervention program focusing on sexual and relationship violence, mental health concerns, acts of bias, and risky drinking and drug use. She has also been a Prevention and Resource Coordinator for the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape and a Training Coordinator for the Centre County Women's Resource Center.
Betsy's personal and professional purpose is to reduce and eliminate violence in our culture through her own daily actions as well as by supporting initiatives that serve that purpose so that we all may have the opportunity to live our best lives and contribute to our communities.
