Biography

Isabel Rivera is a fourth-year undergraduate student at Penn State, double majoring in Geography and Community, Environment, and Development with a minor in Politics and Public Policy. She is also pursuing certificates in Environment and Society Geography and in Justice, Ethics, and Diversity in Space. On campus, Isabel serves as President of the Community, Environment, and Development Club, President of Gamma Theta Upsilon - Geography Honors Society, and Recruitment Analyst for Alpha Delta Pi International Panhellenic Sorority, Delta Kappa Chapter. She also works as an undergraduate research assistant with the Environmental Demography Network (EDeN) and as an undergraduate advising assistant in the Department of Agricultural Economics, Sociology, and Education. Outside of academics, Isabel enjoys crocheting, hiking, and reading. After graduation, she plans to pursue graduate studies with the goal of earning a Ph.D.
