Biography

Gail Jackman earned a master's degree in consumer economics from Cornell University after graduating from Penn State. A devoted University volunteer, she serves on the boards of the Rock Ethics Institute and the Liberal Arts Development Council and has served as a Liberal Arts alumni mentor. For the past eighteen years, she has been president and owner of Reach Research, a marketing and business development firm. Before Reach Research, Jackman was a consumer educator with the Allegheny County Department of Consumer Affairs and a market research consultant with companies including Synovate, Marriott Corporation, and Shugoll Research. In 2020, the Jackmans were named Penn State's Fundraising Volunteers of the Year.
