Martina Orlandi selected as media fellow
Dr. Martina Orlandi, Post-Doctoral Scholar in Engaged Ethics, has been selected as a Marc Sanders Foundation Media Fellow.
Fellows were selected from a pool of 264 people applicants this year through a selection committee consisting of academic philosophers and media industry professionals.
Funded in large part by a Public Engagement Grant from the Templeton Foundation, the MSF Philosophy in Media initiative aims to increase the presence of philosophy in print, audio, and video media by training philosophers to write and produce for the public, and by connecting philosophers to editors and commissioners in the media industry.
As part of this fellowship, Martina will attend a two-day workshop in Vancouver, on April 15-16, 2022, with James Ryerson, op-ed editor at the New York Times, at the Pacific American Philosophical Association.
