REI affiliate faculty Pearl Gluck’s award-winning film screening for charity
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Rock Ethics Institute affiliate faculty member Pearl Gluck‘s film The Turn Out is premiering virtually to benefit several organizations that support survivors of sex trafficking in the United States.
The docu-drama tells of the personal connections and moral dilemmas around sex trafficking in Southern Appalachia through the testimony and stories of trafficking survivors, anti-trafficking activists and truck drivers.
The online premiere runs through August 15, 2020.
Pearl Gluck is an associate professor of film production in the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications.
