Biography

Abby is a sophomore from Altoona, Pennsylvania, studying Film Production at the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications, with prospective minors in Photography, Women Studies, and Theatre. She is Model Chair of Penn State’s Photography Club, a CommAgency member, a recipient of the President’s Freshman Award, and now a 2021–22 Rock Ethics Institute Fellow. With training based in the arts, she is passionate about collaborating on inclusive, genre-bending, and thought-provoking projects that educate while they entertain. Rock Ethics Institute affiliate faculty member Pearl Gluck is supervising their project “Stars and Bars: A Feature Film Exploring White Supremacy in Central Pennsylvania.”
