Biography

Carolee Grillo is a retired family court commissioner for the State of Delaware, where she served for eighteen years presiding over juvenile delinquency and civil and criminal domestic violence cases. Before her appointment to the bench, she practiced law for nine years at Ament, Lynch, and Carr and previously worked as a law clerk and attorney at the law office of Thomas F. Luce. Grillo earned her J.D. from Widener University. A dedicated mentor, she has guided numerous Penn State undergraduates and law students in pursuing legal careers and recently made a gift to establish a director's fund within the Rock Ethics Institute.
