Biography

Julie Rock is a former corporate training and development manager at Smith International, Inc., a global provider of oil and natural gas exploration and development products and services. During her tenure, she coordinated the company's Junior Achievement education program and later worked as a consultant for Impact Training, a management training firm. She is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University. With her husband, Doug, Rock has been a generous supporter of Penn State's College of the Liberal Arts, together endowing the Rock Ethics Institute, its directorship, and the dean's chair in the college. They have also contributed to the Moore Building project for the Department of Psychology.
