Biography

Luis R. Delgado Jr. (él/he/him) is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Penn State. He earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso and an master of science degree in civil engineering with a minor in public policy from Penn State.

Luis is currently a graduate research assistant in the Engineering Cognitive Research Laboratory (ECRL) and in the Leonhard Center for Enhancement of Engineering Education. Luis’s research expertise and interests lie in engineering education; graduate student mentoring; faculty development; and diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ).
