Biography

Tanner Vea is a socioculturally-oriented learning scientist and assistant professor in learning, design, and technology and learning sciences at Penn State. The overarching goal of his work, which considers both formal and informal learning environments, is to understand the role learning plays in the negotiation of political and social change, as well as how politics and ethics figure in the design of learning environments.
